SPH Housing carried out a consultation exercise with their tenants for the refurbishment of 4 Mansion blocks in Holborn, London. There were 4 basic flat types being renovated and SPH wanted tenants to choose the colours of interior walls, finishes for kitchen units, floor and worktop finishes for kitchens & bathrooms. Creating a 3D animation or a series of different still images with the various large number of colours and finish options could have been very time consuming and expensive. Building Visions developed an Interactive 3D solution for SPH Housing, that allowed them to show highly accurate views of typical flat types with different colour and finish options at the click of a button. These views could be saved as screenshots and recorded for ordering and specification of manufacturers for each of the many tenants.
